THE CHURCH
In the early spring of 1867 Welsh people who lived in Edwardsville, Pa began the foundation that supports our Church. Over the years the times, faces and norms have changed but the Welsh heritage and founding principles have not.

March is the month the Welsh celebrate St. David. We host the St.David's Day Tea in the common area of the Church. It consists of local entertainment followed by a Tea consisting of tea, coffee , cheese and hand baked breads.

In the spring we host a long standing talent contest called the Cynonfardd Eisteddfod. This singing and music competition is for all ages and talent level. At this event named for the Churches namesake the contestants compete in categories broken down by age for prizes of varying in value presented in small hand sewn cloth bags.

In the fall we host our Gymanfa Ganu which is a another singing event where a director leads the congregation in the singing of Hymns. At a Gymanfa Ganu the director direct the congregation in singing the Hymns. They pull the faith, the love, and the joy that the Hymn writer inevitably wanted from their work.

Services are held in the Church Every Sunday at 9:30am and usually last an hour. On the Third Sunday we conduct the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

We recently, as of this edit, just hired a new Minister. Rev. Wayne Morgan, an upbeat fun loving soul, gives a meaningful message relating to the Bible's scripture and to the lives we all live.
